Beau mais froid, 10 ˚ et un vent froid. Nous prenons le petit-déjeuner à l’hôtel
et Jens part travailler, l’hôtel est à 10 mn à pied de l’observatoire. Je sors
un peu plus tard, il fait vraiment froid, j’essaye de marcher au soleil. Je me
perds juste un peu et trouve l’immeuble où nous habitions en septembre 2022.
Nous avions un bel appartement, mais dans l’annonce ils avaient « oublié »
de dire qu’une voie ferrée passait juste en bas. Je remonte vers l’observatoire
et vais me promener dans le grand parc qui est juste en face. Ce n’est pas un
parc au sens ordonné et citadin, c’est un endroit naturel, donc on y trouve de
nombreuses fleurs sauvages. Je me régale avec mon PlantNet qui les identifie.
Dans une partie rocheuse, je vois une petite grotte et je pense que c’était
pour des moutons, mais non, il y a un sac de couchage et des affaires, quelqu’un
vit dedans. Il n’y a personne mais je n’ose pas faire une photo, si la personne
arrivait. Je rentre, travaille un peu et ressors vers 1 h pour aller déjeuner.
J’achète une tourte aux épinards et vais déjeuner sur un banc dans un parc de
jeux, au soleil. Je rentre et fais le blog. Jens rentre vers 4 h, bien fatigué.
Il se repose puis nous sortons ensemble. Nous essayons de trouver un appareil
de chauffage pour Hera II, mais n’en trouvons pas. Nous partons à 6 h 15 en
voiture, nous sommes invités chez Faidra, une collègue de Jens, et son mari
Nikos. Le GPS me guide et nous trouvons bien. La circulation est chargée et il
faut être alerte. Soirée très sympathique, bonne nourriture et bonne compagnie.
Nikos et Faidra ont fait construire leur appartement sur le toit de la maison
de ses parents à lui. Quand elle m’avait raconté cela en septembre, j’avais
imaginé un petit appartement, mais non c’est tout neuf, grand, moderne et
confortable. Leur fils ainé, 16 ans, ressort à 8 h pour aller prendre un cours
particulier. Tous ses camarades le font, plusieurs heures par semaine. S’ils ne
font pas, ils n’ont, d’après les parents, aucune chance de réussir leur examen
de fin de lycée. Nous rentrons sans problème, la circulation à 11 h est fluide.

Beautiful but cold, 10˚ and a cold wind. We have
breakfast at the hotel and Jens goes to work, the hotel is 10 minutes walk from
the observatory. I go out a little later, it's really cold, I try to walk in
the sun. I just get a little lost and find the building where we lived in
September 2022. We had a nice apartment, but in the ad they had
"forgotten" to say that a train track passed just below. I go up to
the observatory and go for a walk in the large park which is just opposite. It
is not a park in the orderly and urban sense; it is a natural place, so there
are many wildflowers. I enjoy my PlantNet identifying them. In a rocky part, I
see a small cave and I think it was for sheep, but no, there is a sleeping bag
and things, someone is living in it. There is no one but I dare not take a
picture, if the person arrives. I go home, work a little and come out around 1
a.m. to go to lunch. I buy a spinach pie and go to lunch on a bench in a
playground, in the sun. I go home and do the blog. Jens comes home around 4
a.m., very tired. He rests then we go out together. We are trying to find a
heater for Hera II, but cannot find one. We leave at 6:15 a.m. by car, we are
invited to Faidra, a colleague of Jens, and her husband Nikos. The GPS guides
me and we find their address without problem. Traffic is heavy and you have to
be alert. Very friendly evening, good food and good company. Nikos and Faidra
had their apartment built on the roof of his parents' house. When she told me
that in September, I had imagined a small apartment, but no, it's brand new,
large, modern and comfortable. Their eldest son, 16, goes out at 8 a.m. to take
a private lesson. All his classmates do it, several hours a week. If they
don't, they have, according to the parents, no chance of passing their final
high school exam. We return without
problem, traffic at 11 pm is fluid.
